Haiku Poetry Zine

Coin-Operated Press invited you to create Haiku and Haiga for our latest poetry zine!

A Haiku is a Japanese poem of seventeen syllables, in three lines of five, seven, and five, traditionally evoking images of the natural world. A Haiga is more visual, and blends the Haiku with a picture that shows the essence of the words, or adds comments to the meaning of the poem.

In this zine you will find 47 poets capturing their thoughts and feelings in these beautiful micro-poems. Enjoy Haiku comics, faux missing dog posters, odes to the seasons, prayers for pot plants, age-related frustrations, poetical photography, and so much more!

The Haiku Zine is printed in full-colour on 115gsm recycled silk paper, with a laminated 350gsm gloss cover, and stapled to finish as an A6 56-page zine.

All orders come packaged in biodegradable mailer bags.
