Distro: Period Talks Zine
In these hands-on sessions, participants crafted their own personal pages for this zine inspired by real-life experiences of periods and (peri)menopause. These workshops blended research and creative activism to spark meaningful conversations. Researchers from Heriot-Watt University shared stories that challenge stigma and silence around periods and menopause, and reflected on the gaps in support in the workplace and in healthcare, while imagining bold, inclusive solutions for change. Each collaborator left with their own handmade zine pages and a fresh perspective, while contributing to this collective zine.
This zine is a record of these sessions: containing the creative collaged pages alongside information from the Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion Caucus, as well as period stories case studies.
The Period Talks Zine is an A5 32-page stapled zine printed in full-colour with a glossy finish.
All orders will come packaged in biodegradable mailer bags.
